Starting things off

Here is the in medias res beginning of a job search blog. My resume is online here, and I'm hoping to get a job that will use one or more of my skills. My immediate goal is to get "our own place" - that is, for my wife and I. For our whole married life (2 years in November) we've been relying on the kindness of family and friends for our living arrangements. I hope to put an end to that.
